~Believe me, the inspiration for this 'pome' was stemmed from the english literature book. 'War ?' is also a SYSTEM song, but it seemed apt here~
As you wake up to blaring horns,
In your tent at early morn’;
You feel the gut in your stomach.
You set your locks, and spread the word,
Its time for battle, for War is here.
Chariots ready, Swords drawn;
Spears taken, Armors worn;
Looking for peace to fail,
Hoping to hear of the widows’ wails;
They will be slaughtered, they will be wept,
Fear not, as they are inept;
The time has come to defend your land,
Repay each drop of blood, with your own hand;
Stand for kills, not for peace,
And you will be honored beyond belief.
It is time to stand up and
Hold your ground,
Steady yourself you’re on an ants’ mound.
Put to use of what you know;
The time of battle has arrived.
Arrived with an ugly face,
Of lies and demeaning grace;
Embrace death like your own,
Stab it through when it takes you home.
Return from war with all your glory,
Let your sword not speak of the gory;
Let your axe not speak of your heinous deeds,
For war is over-‘tis time to make merry.

Gender Issues
All right. This is a post i had never thought cud be published on my blog, but here it is. A lot of you wudve your own opinions on it, so just comment !
Like we are taught in every single class that men and women are equal. So, there shud be equal job opportunities, equality everywhere. So, the question im goin to answer here is :
ARE MEN AND WOMEN REALLY EQUAL ?
1. Im certainly not against women equality.
2. The answer starts here.
There shud be equality, no doubt on that. But the notion of men and women being equal in all aspects is quite wrong. I'll tell you why.
The ancient society system here[we're only considering India now], has been subjected to harsh criticism on the grounds that men and women had been assigned different roles by the society...whereas they shud have equal access to the facilities. I say : That system WAS RIGHT. If you take genetics, brain functioning, and simple logic here, you'll understand why.
Women are weaker than men in physical strength. We all know that. But do all of you know why this is ?
Men are wired in the brain very differently than women. Men are wired to be assertive, strong, aggressive...why? simple - to hunt. Women whereas are wired to protect the nests. That is the reason why they are homely and stuff. Ever observed, when your mother sleeps, even the smallest sound of water dripping from a tap cud disturb her? This happens since women require the edge over predators in defending the nest. That is the reason why her ears are unusually sharp at that time. One more thing, ever seen your mother cooking ,while reading instructions and talking on the phone at the same time ? Another ques : Have you ever seen your dad do 3 different things simultaneously ? Its no. When your dad reads the paper, he usually doesnt respond...this is only because women are more adept at multitasking than men.
I presented this arguament to my bio teacher and she says that it is stopping now...there is no need for a woman to stay at home now. Yea rite...do humans also start leaving their kids to care for themsleves like croc kids ?
Current:
Recently the different grand slam associations decided to present the same amont of money to men as well as ladies for winning. But why? Men slog out 5 sets...while women at the maximum compete for 3. Against this, im usually argued by people saying that women are not at that physical level to play 5 sets...so i say - why give them equal money ?
Lete them play 5 sets and just give them equal winnings.
While discussing gender reservations in out sociology class...one of my good friends - Katyayan - said this : "If women want reservations in educational institutions, they shud first accept they are inferior, then take reservations as they want."
He is quite right by the way...reservations are only meant for "the weaker sections of the society". Women say they want equality...then ask for reservations too ? Dead hypocritic in my opinion. This applies for other reservations based debates too.
Your comments people.
p.s. I'll write my next post only if i'm not killed by women because of this.

ENVY THIS
Here, in India, most of us are quite happy with the new 2mbps internet connection now available (though, it hardly ever gives the 2mbps speed).
Now, in America, the average download speed there is 1.97mbps.Great, huh?
It ought to be, for us Indians, for the average download speed being 200 kbps.
But it’s not the Americans who get the last laugh. In Japan the average download speed touches 61 mbps, but then what else will you expect from them!
Certainly not this: A 75 year old lady in Sweden happens to own a 40 gbps net connection!!
Yes, you read that right folks it is 40 and it is GBPS! That equals to downloading a full dual layer DVD in two seconds.
Before you starts drooling over this bit of news, just think what in the hell will a 75 year old lady do with such a connection. Well here it is-
75 year old granny + 40gbps connection = Chat with relatives + play online yahoo! Games + search for recipes online + download windows updates.
Fell like jumping off the window, don’t you?!

Nothing at all
okay.Constant readers of this blog, are requested to kindly bear with me on the fact that i can't find appropriate titles for my blog posts.
While the variable readers might find this fact a litle to their annoyance that I can't seem to title my posts in an orderly way. Those who think this, if I may assure you, this is certainly not the case. And kindly do not judge me[or my intelligence] from these unintelligeble statements.
The day has come for me to review the passing week, as some of you would know, i have successfully crossed the untested waters of examinations. These unchartered areas of my life have bestowed upon me the heroic, gigantic, if i may add, responsibility of conquering this penultimate task of my destiny.
The examaminations. Constant testing of the untested. DASH IT! Now I feel I should have studied harder. Well, readers, my life is like that. As the old saying goes...'Be contented with what you have'...I can't seem to be. Whatever I do, I feel I could've done better. That ladies and gentlemen, provides the path for improvement. Which is the ultimate scope for self-preservation. Or the Race, as it has always, will remain superior to you.
With these cryptic parting phrase...we part until we meet agian in the next post.

This is a blog post.
okay...first i cudnt find a name for the title, so i chose that. Now the reason why i wanted to write this entry is nothing actually, just wanted to write. period.
Okay. Now time for shreekant's thought of the day[yu cud rephrase it for ur frnds as--- "your name goes here" philosophy on life]. I dont give a shit if yu copy my material, just be polite enough to add a comment including a thank you.
PAIN
Pain. Hmm. None of us like it[im not thinking of Sadists here]. But it is an essential part of our life. Yu can almost feel it everyday. physical pain...mental pain[read torture]...blah blah blah.Pain is almost like the adversary u have to have to live[ironic isnt it]. Pain is but a sensation
You treat it as a sensation nothing else...you go on feeling it...im telling you you wont feel a thing. I've done it myself.
---end of post---
DOES THIS WORLD REALLY EXIST ?

Sick of You
Deep down in me
I find you basking in the glory of everything
Memories, I kept locked away
From the eyes starin’ down at me…
You’ll reveal yourself one day
But until then
Keep yourself under lock and key
From everyday things, though you might need
A bit of advice
To just stand and fight!
You mock me like that
You stare on me like that
I want you to know I’m tired of you,
Sick of the games you want me to,
Play, you push me into,
Things, I’m just so sick of you…
Elements not as you wanted them
Lethal, as if you possessed them
People aren’t the same they used to be
Eventually one day you’ll need me…
You mock me the way you stare at me
Getting enough on life to make a soulful leap
You got one my nerves once
I won’t let you do that again!
